08 ML320 CDI

Rear hatch CEL lite on

My 08 ML 320 just had a cel lite come on for a hatch that is closed but says its open? Is there a sensor to replace?

Rear hatch

Now the hatch won't lock shut, it just bounced as you tool on down the road???
Anyone else experienced this?

Bad or misadjusted latch.

A few GL people have had that problem, guessing the latch is similar.
