How do you reset the brake wear indicator on a 2008 ML350? Thank You in advance for any input. David

The brake sensor is replaced when you put new brakes on and the light goes away.

It finally went out on its own the other day but yesterday it came on while going over a bump and went out a while later. Today it did the same thing. I will look at the wear sensor tomorrow to see if it is loose or see what else is going on.

It will go and off spraticly until it stays on. Unless you have done your brakes lately you need to get them done.

All pads, rotors and sensors are new.
