Question: 2007 ML320 CDI - can somebody tell me where the rear SAM is located and what does it look like?


I am having problems with the power tailgate and I want to have a look at the terminals on the SAM

Remove passenger side carpet side cover. See the fuses? The sam is directly below that. Kinda hard to see. There is a black plastic cover over it that can be easily moved. Then lift the sam and maneuver up and out.

When you say "passenger side', do you mean the Right front passenger seat on a Left hand Drive or the Left front passenger seat on a Right hand drive? Is it the same box where the battery is? My car is Right hand drive and the battery and some fuses are under the driver's seat. Thanks again,

in your case, it would be the drivers side. in the cargo area, behind the tail light.
