hi, I have a 2006 W164 that comes with the removable swan neck tow ball. However I require a Hitch config for a bike carrier. I found this photo on the internet but cannot get feedback from e-trailer.com yet. Any previous experience?

I don't know what you mean by a "removable swan neck tow ball". Perhaps you mean one of these things (but with a ball attached):



If so then simply remove it (pull the pin in your hitch receiver) and insert bicycle rack designed for a 2" receiver. And reinsert the pin to keep it from falling out.

I meant this:
