I have a 2008 ML350 and when my kids went to charge their phones and play thier games in the back; none of the cigarette lighters (that's what I call them) or 12V connections work. ??? What could this be? What do I need to do? Please advise.

It could be a faulty phone charger that has blown the fuses. I had this problem before. Check your fyse map and replace ghe blown fuses and then try the cigarette lighter with a known good charger. Also check the sockets for any metal foreign objects that could have shorted out the sockets.
