2007 ML350
Transfer Case Fluid vs. Transmission

Hi guys,

So my vehicle is a 2007 ML350 (4matic) with only 65,000 miles.

The transmission fluid was changed at 39K miles per Mercedes.

I just changed the front and rear differential fluids.

But now that I got the vehicle back, I'm wondering if I need to change the transfer case fluid. At what mileage or age does the transfer case fluid need to be changed? Or I am "good" since I already changed the transmission fluid?

Thanks!

yes imo you need to change the transfer case fluid on the same schedule as the diffs at least

Further to that,
Are there simple drain/ fill bolts on each? I assume a small bottle pump would be necessary.
Canadian dealer tells me they pump out of bottle also- no bulk.

i am pretty sure there are simple drain and fill holes on it, takes my mechanic 5-10 minutes to drain and refill

and the transfer in my 2008 GL takes mercedes transmission fluid
