2006 ML350 Few Questions

I want to get 2006 ML350 it has some transmission issue and dont know error codes yet. DO I have to replace valve body or I can just replace conductor plate. The dealer provided 220 270 27 06 88 part number as valve body and 000 270 26 00 88 re manufactured conductor plate. SO can i buy condutor placce and have dealer installed it and reprogram. Other option is to send mine for repair if that is possible on 2006.
What part number is das for this car.

Most of the transmission problems are caused by faulty sensors on the conductor plate. If the conductor plate is sent away for repair and the sensors are replaced then there is no need to reprogram the transmission.
