ML 320 fuel filter

Hi I am wondering what fuel filter part number I should use for my 2006 ML320

The VIN is WDC1641222A123165 (It is an Australian Car)

I am only fairly new to the car, is there a website etc I can go to that will give me part numbers for Vin?

I understand that there are 2 or 3 different fuel filters for the ML320 CDI

Amazon & Ebay will both ask for your vehicle information when doing a search.

OEM Mercedes diesel fuel filters on mine have developed leaks on top on two separate instances, a common problem I have been told, so something to keep your eye on.

Thanks for that.

I have found that the Aussie one doesn't have the heater or water level sensor (its just 2 pipes),

I can get a Meyle locally, is that one of the ones that leaks?

In my experience it's the o-ring that seals the water sensor that leaks. Since you don't have that you shouldn't have a problem.

Mine is also the 'two pipe' one and both leaked from the center part at filter top.
