My 2006 ML350 has dead conductor plate. I run star diagnostics and conductor plate module is not listed. So how hard is to program new conductor plate?

I mean that transmission module is no longer communicating with rest of the car. I have check engine light on and error code no can message received from transmission. Park number for transmission module is not listed in star after running diagnostics.

I would put the car on a lift and remove and inspect the conductor plate connector---is it day or wet bla bla!

Previous owner took it to dealer where it was determined that transmission module was not responding dead they went as far as hooking up different conductor plate and it worked. So i need to install new conductor plate.

FYI the conductor plate does not get programmed------simply install--fill with fluid and the TCU will learn your shift patterns

722.9 transmision requires scn coding and something else and

SCN is not programming-----------------------and if you are sure your 2006 transmission requires SCN, look at using Vediamo
