SL63 Shifting Issues MCT

The MCT transmission is a nightmare. The car is designed to start in 2nd gear until the transmission oil reaches 30c. This is why most of the hesitation occurs when shifting, especially cold. If your delays continue to occur when warm, look at the throttle body first. There were a lot of issues with the original production. They have replaced my Throttle Body, MCT Wet Clutch, Transmission, Rear Differencial, and ECM (twice). I still have the same jerky issues when cold. Only saving grace is to warm up the car first. When warm, the car drives like a dream, and if yours doesnt, get it in and complain. I had to get 2 regional factory reps involved.

Poorly designed transmission in a beautiful car. Wish they would go back to a stronger torque converter. Hard shifting and delay cant get any worse than the MCT.

Yes, mostly when cold. They have replaced the Trasmission, wetclutch, throttle body, rear differential, left cat valve, and air/gas mixture valve. Flashed ECM twice etc....
Not to mention more reprogramming that NASA uses to launch a rocket. Car jerks and ****s hard, especially the downshift to 3rd. Any thoughts?
