Unhappy Maybach's Central Locking

Anyone know if the Maybach uses electric door locks (like the current W221) or the classic vacuum system for central locking? When did electric door locks show up on Mercedes, anyway? I miss the vacuum system

Are you considering a Maybach? That would be quite an upgrade from a 560SEL...

is no fun when these gizmos started to acted up.
worse are the ones that tied into the computer, as when the sensors dont work the computer will not go to next routine kind of stuck there!
my old 84 w126 has a vac pump, i can still hear the pump running when open the door but the locks doesnt go up or down.
atleast it doesnt interfere with my enjoyment of the rest of this aged panzer wagen.
