that's what i thought, but it is the case, either the AMG muffler is really good or the aftermarket one is really bad. i think the latter, well im gonna go for the magnaflows i think, will put up a video once done. i gotta say dude your clk is one of the best i've seen.

@jazzo; I have no drone in my system at all and I have headers, only one set of 100 cell cats, no resonators, just Magnaflow mufflers. It's odd that you are now getting a drone if all you did was change out the muffler.

hey man sorry to bother you but i really need some advice on my exhaust set up. my 03 clk55 came with twin exhaust on one side. i changed the rear amg backbox for an aftermarket single in dual out, and ran a pipe round the tyrewell to make a quad setup. its sounds ok but i get a horrible drone in third gear cruzin at low rpm its driving me mad. i'm thinking of going for a magnaflow set up like yours, i wanted to ask, do you get any drone at all now you've had that set up for a while? will it sound better with the magnaflow set up compared to stock amg in your opinion? i want extra growl without the drone. thankyou...

according to our manuals (page 39) the up/down adjustment is electric. I replaced my seats with the DTM seats first thing. I would love to trade mine for euro seats or door panels. Regards, Rich

Yellows are better for me because they are adjustable for the track, for you and 99% of everyone else out there, it's overkill. The #4 pad raises the rear 12mm over the #1 pad. The 209 doesn't have front pads, just rear, the old 208 has front and rear.
