My 230k SS Project! :)
"Whats up MBWORLD! Ive been here for a lil while, learning a lot! Now im putting the info to action and im starting to work on my benz......... My benz- My father gave me his c230 2 years ago when he bought a ml500. When he gave it to me there was extensive body damage, missing parts, he crashed it once. So for about 2 years I was driving around a beat up benz, it was sad but i couldent afford 4k in repairs just for aesthetics. About 2 months ago I got all the body work done and it came out factory fresh First thing I did was take off front license plate and put down a flat badge (some fuc*** broke my standing emblem off) Next up I got my tint done, 20% johnson film all the way around Next up I debadged, and added a CF spoiler for the trunk and roof, Thanks GARY!!!!!"
How have things been man? The car has gone through some stuff here and there Ill post some progress and some videos
Beautiful car, would love to see some engine bay pics. If your selling the car in a few months still I may have sufficient funds

if you take off the kleeman kit and it is compatible with my model m271 ( I think it should be?) I would be interested other than that good luck with sale!
2002 C230 potential part out
"Update: Its with a heavy heart that I'm going to sell. A few snags. Tails lights and roof rack are ready to go. I can sell those items immediately. Feel free to PM Me for a shipping qoute. I'm down with the Dibs system, so I think the tails are spoken for. I can coordinate local pick ups in either Gardena or Pasadena. Small snag here. I have a left hand injury that has me unable to do any type of mechanical work. So I'm going to try to sell the car with the pulley, bix, etc. I'm putting up a Craigslist ad and I'll put the car on the forums I know of for Mercedes. I may put the car on Ebay. Not sure. I'm once Again leaning toward parting out my C230 coupe. Should I be parting it out, I have some fun goodies that I will be putting up. These are the prices I'm thinking ..."
great job man! would love to see the exterior as well.. Hell why not wrap the whole thing first cf car w203

Peydidys C230 coupe
"Time to start a build thread for the coupe! I haven't really done much modding to it since I got it but the mod bug has been hitting me recently so I decided to start a build thread for it and start modding it a bit more. Heres the story behind the car: I bought the 2002 C230 Kompressor coupe from another forum member (kirax2). He posted his car on the forum for sale and I flew to vegas the next day were he lived and bought the car off him. The car already had some Bilstein PSS9 coilovers on it with Sport Edition KV5 18inch wheels, and Mattig Grille painted in pewter. Other then those things it was pretty much stock. The week after getting the car I replaced the EIS which cost me a lot so I let off on the modding for a bit and focused my time and money more on my c230 sedan. The car has ..."
I have a brand new one I would sell you(carbon fiber) Never got a chance to put on, bought from gary suvneer I spend 210, id let go of it for 150, I live in OC we could meet up
Sell me your beat up front lip!
"Looking for a front lip, either the cf or fiberglass. I want to spend as LITTLE as possible. You're probably wondering why I would want to buy a beat up lip right? Well my car is really low and I'm sure it won't last long on there so might as well save some money and try to salvage a beat on one haha "
god damn that is such an awesome car you have!!! *drool*
Kleemann Headers and Dual Exhaust Installed
"Holy Crap!!! It took over 2 weeks for the install but boy was it worth it! So much for my ride being a sleeper...It's still pretty mellow if I don't get more that 1/8th of the way into the throttle or too high in the RPMs, but get on the gas and the beast is unleashed!!! The second day I had it back I was driving a coworker to a rental office and had to make a U-turn to get to where he was going. I gassed it after the turn and immediately turned into the parking lot. We get out of the car and someone who had been walking by says "Was that you in the white Mercedes"?, to which I reply yes..."What the F**K do you have in that thing"?!?! he replies. Much thanks to AMGSC for the headers, Danny at A-1 Transmission for the header install (who has possibly the SICKEST SL55 on the ..."
Fantastic job on the track! Someone needs to teach that R8 how to drive his car. Very well done, beautiful car!
7 year ownership update and a track day!
"Well, we all get older with time, and so do our cars. I've had my C55 now for 7 full years. Time really flies. The car has remained very reliable. I continue taking it to the dealership once per year for routine maintenance, alternating between the typical Service A and B. The car has relatively low mileage and I plan to keep it for as long as I can. For the last 4 years, I haven't driven it in snow/salt. I continue to enjoy the car, on the road by myself or with my family, and once per year at the track to give it some "exercise". It truly has been a versatile car for me. For the last few years, I've had the 2005 CLK front grille installed. This year, I decided to go back to the stock grille and stock upright star on the hood. It's a bit suprising, but I absolutely love the ..."
I built a pretty basic intake using the existing airbox, inside is a K&N filter, I used aluminum piping and foil wrap + clamps and zip ties to hold it strong. Car runs cooler, Its in my build thread Although the M271 will be alot easier and different than your amg intake
Who developed their own air intake system? Why aren't more folks doing this?
"So I'm looking at Needswings dial air intake...and I had this thought years ago too...why aren't more people just finding an inline air filter canister then purchasing the needed ducting to make their own? The price on that is pretty salty and from my own research (which took a while, not really easy to find I found)...I think I could put something together much cheaper...and if we want to flow bench something these aren't too expensive anymore so I'm sure anyone can find someone who'll do it for you pretty cheap. For those who did make their own, what did you do, how and did it work for you?"
May he rest in peace and for his sons to fulfill his great legacy
RIP Dad <3
"Hey Everyone, My father, George Manaras, passed away suddenly last tuesday. He was a car collector and had a passion for AMG cars, which clearly rubbed off on myself and my brother. I figured i'd post in this section of the boards because it's my favorite place and has some awesome members. He enjoyed his 2012 c63 very much as well as all of his other cars. He left behind a legacy that My brother and I are completely ready to fulfill. He taught us well about business and just as much about cars. Some of you may have met him at the AMG gatherings/track days in the Montreal/Ontario area. Just figured i'd post a thread in his honor. He never posted on this forum, but frequented it quite often (to make sure his kids didn't post too much nonsense) He left us with many toys to drive around ..."

"Yea I took 3 classes there the last school year. I went to gwc and now csulb for 2 more years . Hmmmm I kind of want to plastidip my car white now."
Pewter really does go well with the desert terrain! I bet it would look pretty awesome up north in some woodsy areas Rich kids! Cool to see some members with familiar areas, you go to occ in the past? Pretty impressive huh! I thought I was pretty original plasti dipping the car, and now he has that idea and is making $$$ through his website. Interesting how they can have metallic and gloss plasti dip as well, im going to look into that
