Error Code 9122 SRS related

Guys,
Need a bit of help from you gurus...
Changed my steering whee to the one with paddles (Performance Pack) and my SRS light is on...

Launch shows the following error :
9122 The resistance value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/14 (Driver airbag ignition squib 2) is too low.

What does this mean please?
Is it a wiring issue with the SCM connector? The Clockspring?
I have looked everywhere and although 9123 is fairly commonplace, there's only 1 mention of 9122 on the SLKworld forum.

Any DIY's for this please?

First you may have to go back to EPC and confirm that the new wheel is compatible with your car-------then yes I would look to the connector----it simply means low voltage---are you able to erase the fault?

Hi thank you.
The wheel is indeed from a CLS.
The fault was erased once, when the steering wheel was not properly aligned.
I took off the airbag again to realign it again, and the fault won't get erased now.

Would Launch (X431), in any of its forms be considered "equal"?

The launch is a great mid level garage diagnostic tool where the garage specializes in nothing but numerous model cars------and as you know there are many modules to launch, therefore you have to check the specs of yours to see if it will read, interrogate and diagnose the module in question.
