2001 S500;1992 300SE
Looking for relay
Both rear seat head restraint releases on my '92 300SE do not work. Rocker switch continuity on dashboard checked out OK. I doubt both solenoids releasing the head restraints are bad, so relay is next place to look. Both fuses are OK.
Found the relay nest behind the fuse box in engine compartment...about 7, but not much help since not labeled and I have no wiring diagram.
Any direction appreciated.

With a little help from another forum, found out the head restraints are vacuum actuated, so looking into that aspect. I was told to look under the rear seat and found either a pump or vacuum chamber with the right colored lines leading out of it to a small chamber beside each head restraint. Amazing cars.
