Rear Heat / AC Control Problems E500 (w211)

Hi guys -

My rear heating / AC control in the back seat is not functioning on my 2004 E500 4Matic?

I can control the heat from the front seat control - but I have no functionallity out of the rear control - no display - nothing back there...

Any suggestions??

can anyone guide me on how to remove the control panel from the rear? If I can remove it, perhaps I can test it or make sure the connections are proper??

It isn't simple to describe. Shouldn't you really purchase the MB workshop instructions for your car from MBUSA?

It turned out to be a faulty connection to the panel. MB Dealer fixed it under warranty - even though the car is technically "Out of Warranty".
My kids are happy now - they can control their own hear/AC!
