Hi everyone, new here. Just have a few questions hopefully someone can answer or shed more light on.
I've used the search and gotten pointed into the right direction but still unsure about a few things/
I'm in the middle of a m120 swap into a Mitsubishi Starion, "sacrilegious" to many lolol sooorry~
Will be running a standalone Ms3x, and I'm hoping i can get a used oem 60-2 flex plate that will work with the stock triggers. "hall/vr" < not sure which.
Im under the impression the 96 and above uses a 60-2 flexplate ??
Can anyone confirm that i need a 96+ flexplate and it infact is 60-2 ? Which other years/cars use the same flexplate ??
Hall or vr sensors on back of motor?
Also anyone have a possible base map/trigger angles ?

Well it runs, not tuned. I didn't go with the 60-2 flexplate because i didn't know what specific one i needed. Made a custom trigger solution that someone else already did.
Went from a ms3x to a Ms3 Pro Evo. I'm Running SemiSeq fuel injection atm, 4 pot ford v8 injectors 220cc, A1000 pump, stock FPR, LS Truck Coils. 10mm coil wires... "WELL INSULATED!!"
I think im going to prototype out a Cd009 adapter out of plastic and go from there. Nobody is really making adapters.
There's a few leads. There's 2 m119/m120 flywheels that can mount infront of the flexplate that can be bought made to order with 2 clutch options, you can also modify a modular ford 8bolt crank for direct fit to the m120.
But id need to make the clutch and splines lineup and meet at minimum. So if i used a ford flywheel id need to use a specific 350z/g35 clutch disk with proper spline to work with a specific pressure plate.
Check out XF Motorsports in Brampton, On, Canada, if you haven't already. He did a m113k with a 6spd swap from a 350z. He's got a CNC machine and fabricates a lot of custom pieces for the swap, available for sale online. Check out their website. He also filmed the whole swap and posted in Youtube.
Hilarious! I am working on a 350z setup for my 240z M120 conversion. I got an aluminum flywheel that I will modify using a flex plate ring gear, and trigger wheel. I am going to run (2) Audi ECU's. Another option would be using (2) Nissan 1992 Maxima DOHC ECU's and (2) Cam angle sensors (I modified to work where the distributor's are) it doesn't use CAN, and only has (1) O2 sensor per ECU.
