2007 C230 Door Lock Problem
The left rear door lock keeps making a "rapid fire" type sound when ever the car locks. It basically locks and unlocks several times rapidly when it locks whether by key or when the car locks automatically. Does anyone know what this is? I have tried everything. The owners manual does't mention it at all.

hi dan,
anyone provided u with a solution, i have the same problem with the front passenger door. it does the same, and stops at lock position. do share if you were enlightened with a solution. I am guessing the door lock actuator needs replacement but am trying to save, its around $120 excluding labor...
