Slk 230 asr/bas/abs/speedometer/gearbox issues
Hi
I've had a problem with my 99 slk. Everything was fine until I parked it for a week and now there's a number of issues
1) the car is stuck in first
2) the speedo/odometer do not work
3) the roof will not work (motor is working though)
4) abs and traction control lights are on
The only thing I can think is that the car doesn't know how fast it's going so these functions are all broken. I've taken it to the garage who said the only diagnostics coming up is the brake servo but I don't think that is the cause of the problem.
No codes are coming up for the speed sensors etc
I'm not going to replace the servo as It will be expensive and I don't see how that could cause all these issues. Any ideas for what could have happened? I imagine a sensor somewhere has gone but without any diagnostic codes I'm not sure where to go from here
