1995 C280 38 Pin Digital Code Reader

Good day,

Does anyone have a method of reading digital codes from a 38 pin diagnostic port on a 1995 C280? Some of the pins are analog, meaning an inexpesive or self-constructed flash scanner can be used to count out the code numbers, but some pins are digital, in particular Pin 30 (SRS) and require a scanner such as a Palm Scanner with a 38 pin connector. These Palm Scanners are difficult to find for sale at reasonable prices, and was wondering if anyone knows a method of interfacing an OBD II scanner to the 38 pin port to read digital output codes. I'm interested in any other methods that are cost effective. There is an OBD II port under the steering column but only engine fault information is available.

Thank you.
