how flexible are maintenance intervals?
How flexible is Mercedes with required services. For example, if service is due at 35,000 miles, how much farther than that can I go without Mercedes saying [if my car later has engine problems] that I did not have the service performed on time.
And is it different if the service is required at 36 months, instead of mileage?
Not wanting to go a ton over, just right now is not a convenient time.
Thanks.

There is no fixed answer to your question (i.e. - MB will allow exactly 35,301 miles to be covered, but not 35,302)
Typically if an engine oil related condition occurs (sludge build up) and the maintenance records indicate intervals were extended, then yes the warranty coverage could be in jeopardy.

I have waited a 100 miles over at one time due to being in your situation of not having time. Not a big deal really.
