Coolant Specs Question
Could anyone tell me if engine coolant specs, MB 325.1, MB 325.0, and ASTM D3306/D4985 are either compatible with or equivalent to Zerex G-05. Application will be in 1999 E55 AMG, M113. The Zerex label says MB approved for model and year, but I can't find application guides for the MB specifications. Thanks for any help.

Zerex G-05 is compatible with 325.0 & would work fine. With that said it is probably worth it to upgrade to the newest spec & buy fluid from the dealer (I haven't done the research to see what coolant all meets the new spec, but I don't think Zerex meets it).
Will the Zerex work fine & be compatible? Yes. Is it the best you can put in your mercedes right now? no as it only meets 325 spec & not the new ones as far as I've been able to tell. The newer spec has a longer service life & few other advantages. Whatever you do, don't buy the generic 'approved for all vehicles' crap.' Here's an interesting 10 page article about merecedes coolant I found

You should also used distilled water when getting your 50/50 mix.
