Air ride will not raise up

I jacked up the left front of the car to pull the bumper off and now when I let the car down it will not raise back up. I can hear the pump running but nothing is happening. Does anyone know how I can get this to working again.

It is considered good form if you search first and then, if you still can't figure it out, ask for the answer. It's not like yours is the first air suspension to have a problem.

To pull the bumper off usually involves pulling the fender liner. Under the fender liner should be the air distribution block. Something you did is the most likely cause of a leak or you disconnected a sensor (or you had an unlucky coincidence). Spray soapy water to find the leak, check for disconnected sensor in that corner, or hook up a diagnostic system that will point you straight at the problem.

The following is for a W220 and not your W221 but will get you started. The theory and techniques are the same.
