Hey Guys,
New Here. Lots of great advice so hoping someone has ideas before I start throwing money at it..


picked up our 2nd 06 cls55 AMG. 58k, Rode/Drove Perfect.. did have a misfire every once in awhile.. (tune up like)


Ordered the stage 2 kit from eurocharged and took it to the shop.


Pulling into the shop and up the hoist ran great..


On hoist, installed new ngk plugs 1 degree cooler, new wires. Oil change.
Headers. Cat deletes. Needed to go the the exhaust shop to have exhaust flanges welded together.. was towed there.


shop called, went to pick it up and drive it the 4 blocks back to the shop.


upon start up it had a prevalent mis. Cel illuminated also.


computer revealed cyl. 2 injector malfunction. and no reading from bank 1 sensor 1 o2.


ordered new injector and o2 from dealer. Installed both.


Same codes


Tested wires at injector showed 12v. with no pulse from ecu..


did a continuity test from ecu to injector all is well..


did an ecu hard reset.. unplugged 2 hours plugged back in..


Now -


No more o2 code.


Still has injector malfunction cyl 2 and also p0300 and p0306


any ideas? Ecu? Reflash? called dealer and they said to try a re-flash for 150 bucks, but don't know if it will work or not.. no refunds if it doesn't..

If ECU, is it only the amg ecu that will work in the car? or will a standard non amg ecu from a 55 work?


Thanks for the help in advance.. The AMG is the only car we have ever missed and bought another of.. Kicking myself for not listening to the wife who said not to do these mods!!!

Question,
Anyone know what ecu's are cross compatible with cls55 amg?
I have been trying to find out, but can't get a solid answer.. my ecu number is rare..1131530791, & I believe as long as you re flash, 1131538679 out of a cls55 & cls500 would work..

Anyone have any input?
