Mileage rollback?
Does anyone know if it is even possible to roll back the mileage on a 2009 SL? Someone us selling one with crazy low miles. Can this be detected by checking onboard computer? Carfax no help.

I'm sure you can check the true mileage. If you've got a friend at Mercedes they can check if the car has had any repair/warranty work completed. I can't believe that Mercedes can't pick up the original mileage in one of the on board CPU's. I've been told that a replacement speedo section needs to be set by Mercedes using, I assume, the STAR system.

Anyone with a STAR system can check the mileage. It is stored in a few different control units... if they have a working knowledge of STAR Diagnosis, they can tell you if it's true mileage.
