W201 brake lights & some dashboard lights dead
Hi folks!
I have a 1992 109E that used to vibrate loudly, especially while idling, until I had a mechanic identify a loose component in the catalytic assembly as the culprit. Until then, the dashboard lights, as well as the temp gauge
etc and the brake lights would work intermittently. Suggesting a loose connection.
After the repair, the vibration stopped, but seemed to lock the loose connection into a broken circuit - so none of these lights work any more. The speedometer works, so do tail lamps and headlights and most other things. So its not a total electrical failure.
I understand trying to locate the loose connections in a car can take many hours of labor. So I wonder if the collection of my symptoms give a clue regarding where this possible loose connection might be. I'd appreciate your thoughts and suggestions on how to best diagnose the problem and its cause.
Alternatively, if this list of faulty electricals are not sufficient to diagnose possible location of the loose connection, please let me know what else I can list so it is more informative and helpful for your 'virtual-diagnosis'.
Thanks!

I'm looking at my options for this since I have to get my R320 smogged. The part number I found is 164-471-11-75 but I can find any reference confirming it fits a 2009 R320.
Can anyone confirm for me.
