Carbon fiber engine cover?

Carbon fiber engine cover?
I just got my 2014 ML63 yesterday and it has the sport performance package. I have the red brake calipers, and the dinamica steering wheel and headliner, and I assume the increased HP and Torque and top speed, but I open my hood and there is no carbon fiber engine cover. I called the salesman and he didn't think it was on the car. I read the window sticker that states it is. I think I read some others didn't get theirs either. Any idea whats going on?

The CF engine cover is becoming a stand-alone option nowadays. Not sure if that's the case with you, but if so, make a stink to get it.

I will. It's listed on my window sticker as part of the performance package I paid for! It's still on MBUSA.com as well listed as part of the package. I called my salesperson last night and he's supposed to check with the GM today and get back to me.

Just fyi, it is something they can order (the builder plate takes some special paperwork) just like a normal part.

Just got an update, my salesman spoke to the GM who called the Service Manager and they're ordering me one. They actually had 2 ML63's on the showroom floor, both have performance package and mine and the other didn't have carbon fiber engine covers!
