ML55 Heater problem
Hi folks.
Got a problem with the heating system on my 2002 ML55. The blower seems to be fixed on setting 2, no matter which way i turn it the fan speed remains the same. The heater is only producing heat and again no matter which temperature i select it remains hot. The directional control does not work on any setting either. It is fixed on the defrost setting. Defrost switch illuminates but does nothing, recirc does nothing.
The system was working ok yesterday...any ideas before i have to visit a Mercedes stealership?

Martin would suggest you start first at the codes. Get a scanner if you don't have one and scan your codes. If no codes it is the type of issue that doesn't cause codes which means you're at the dealer. There are a few that don't cause codes and if you don't know the car systems you end up throwing a lot of money at it and having lots of spare parts. Good luck
