2010 ML63 Racingbrake 6 piston BBK upgrade

I would like to share my experience dealing with Racingbrake. As my OEM rotors and pads were going out the door. I felt it was time to upgrade! I've had a fare share of brake upgrades in my past. From Honda with spoon calipers, wilwood, to BBK brembo's on my bimmer. First off I'd like to thank them for their prompt and professional service. They were of great help providing me with available options for my ride. (If only they told me about their CCM package! Jk..) I decided to go with the BBK 6 piston fronts and 4 piston rears with the anodized option. I'm still waiting for the rears to be made. The idea of lighter rotors compared to OEM was a bonus. The calipers look fantastic. I was going to go with black. But the anodized worked so well with my black ml and I could not be happier. There was a small hitch with the install. But the guys at Racingbrake were there for me. Quick with their actions and service. They helped me finish the install and now I'm enjoying my 63 that can literally stop on a dime. Thanks again to the guys at RB!

Thank you for sharing and we are glad that you like the kit. For other members who might also be interested in this kit, our front kit uses the same size and offset as OE 1 pc (390x36mm), but the rear is enlarged to 390mm from OE's 360mm.

We just run the fitment test on rear adaptor and releases its production so we shall expect to ship your rear kit in about 3-4 weeks.

Thank you.

Another kit shipped yesterday to Germany.

This kit is good for both W164 and W166, and is the most valuable upgrade for your ML.

Awesome! The weight reduction must be amazing for the ride quality. Heavy brakes really are the worst when it comes to ride quality & handling

Did you weigh the difference if the old calipers compared to the new?

We can provide our caliper weight, but for OE calipers weight I would hope if our customers who purchase our brake kits can weigh them and report the weight.

Thanks

Yes, thats what I meant, we need the OE claiper weights so we can compare the before/after for total mass reduction. Hopefully he can provide them during the installation process
