Oil level

Hi amg fans,

Yesterday I checked my oil manually and to my big surprised I realized it was missing at least 1.5 liter of oil

I thought amg cars nowadays would tell us when it's oil thrusty

So does that mean there are no warnings, no sign on the dashboard that warns us when the oil is low??

All my amg' s including + my 1990 mb evo2 warns me so it's a big scary surprise!!

I have had my 20014 ML63 produce an oil level warning light stating it needed a liter to top it up.

mine usually says "check oil at next service" or something like that and when I do, it is usually asking for a quart.

mine usually says DON'T rely on a sensor and check the oil manually. Get a dipstick.

All the 63s do tend to burn a little oil over time. This is normal on all of them. Just monitor it. If it's burning more than a quart every 5k miles then it's may be a more serious issue.
