Dyno Figures for RADO downpipes, heat exchanger and tune.
We installed a new dyno last week so we were messing around with it all weekend and we did some testing on some cars. One of the cars that we spent a lot of time testing on was a 2013 ML63 w/ performance package.
ALL TESTS WERE DONE WITH 91 OCTANE CALIFORNIA FUEL AND A HOT ENGINE. We also used a Mustang AWD linked dyno. Our goal is to do real world, worst case scenario tests, not the highest number fluff tests. We could easily get more power by running the car on better fuel and doing it when the car has cooled down but we want realistic numbers for this, not marketing numbers that you are used to seeing companies post.
Test 1-
Stock
Test 2- (not on sheet)
Tuned (We tested several different tune configurations)
Test 3-
Installed the stock tune again using the off-road downpipes and upgraded heat exchanger.
Test 4-
Tuned with off-road downpipes and heat exchanger.
The attached DYNO sheet shows stock vs. stock with hardware installed vs. tuned with hardware installed.
