Looking for a little bit of help on this ac issue im having. The air conditioner works but is stuck on 60 degrees. It wont switch to any other temp and therefore the heater wont kick on. Also the vents in my dash blow very little air. The defroster blows air and the back vents blow air but not the dash and I cant switch those either. Any advice on where to start? I can take a pic of the dash when I get home if that helps. OH I can also control how hard the air blows.

Regrettably in your case there are no self diagnostics, therefore you are left with guesses, and if you don't wan t get the car scanned, then my guess is either faulty AC controller, faulty flap motors, bla bla


The flap motors are all behind the dash and the AC unit can be pulled, but how will you test the system without the proper tools---you can't----find an indy with a copy of DAS or live with the situation!!
