Can't believe with all the people who have bikes on MBWorld that this forum is for the most part, DOA.

I talk about biking on sport-touring.net not on a car forum.

I rode over to Spokane to catch the finish of the Ironbutt rally couple of weeks ago. The Ironbutt is an 11 day rally around the US and Canada. The winner did over 12000 miles. I did 800 miles in two days.

Here's a pic from somewhere in eastern WA

So I bought my brand new zx6r on a Friday. Rode it home. Proceeded to get sick as a dog on Saturday and Sunday (couldn't ride), and then Mother Nature decides to dump 2 straight weeks of rain on us.

Finally had a decent day today so I took the bike to the office (had a busy week so I had to catch up a bit). Then I rode over to Cycle Gear and got a new tank protector, and then rode around and met the family for lunch. While not a very long ride, it was nice! Bike now has over 100 miles on it.

While it was raining, I was able to eliminate the ugly fender.

Wow, that's a lot of riding! Picture is awesome! Nothing like that around here. Everything is flat and straight. Very hard to even find some decent twistys.

Should change my name to revstalker.

Not sure if I've posted yet. I'm on a couple of local sport bike forum. Went out for a Sunday Ride with 6 other guys yesterday. Very nice ride!

I like it a lot. Still taking it easy during the break in though. The bike does like to go fast!

It seems to me that the bike is more stable than the 250 was. We get a lot of wind here and the zx seems to cut through it better. The 250 had a lot of turbulence. Not sure if the cause of this was the higher riding posture on the 250. Overall, I think the 250 is a great bike. Great for a fun ride, and great on the twistys. But most of my ride is on straight roads with 70mph speed limits where the traffic averages between 75 and 80. While the 250 was more than capable in this, the zx is just a much better bike for this. It's good to know that if someone is cutting in on me, or trying to box me up, a quick twist of the wrist moves me out of that situation. On the 250, it was a little more difficult.
