Pre-Safe Brake: Sensors Deactivated ML350 ????
Help!! Had a flat rear tire. Dealer does not know wht sensors deactivated. How are they reset ????
Had a flat, resulting immediate problems
1) cruise control will not set
2) distronic braking does not work
2) blind spot safety feature does not work
Error message "sensors deactivated
Dealer told me to drive 10 to 20 miles and it would reset. I live 100 miles from the dealer. Has not reset????

He got a flat tire, an unspecified sensor went awry, and his cruise control/distronic/blind spot safety feature doesn't work.
So he's on the forum hoping to get an answer before he has to drive another 100 miles back to the dealership...
What else is there to tell?
Seems like a lack of due diligence on the dealership's part. They are supposed to be the experts and should know which sensor is related to those functions and where it is located. I'm sure someone who knows exactly what sensor is deactivated will chime in soon enough.

Sounds like a bit of the tire may have come off and hit something in the wheel well for the lane track/distronic/CC features. May be time to make the trek back to the dealership.
