I love the ones on the left just looked like a brake caliper show off and my brakes are stock so idk if the ones on the rights a better look. I had a deal going on with a friend for Ashanti's but by the time is set and done better I buy rims new. Plus I read asanti are very heavy wheels for everyday driving for me.

I think right, but check weights compared to stock. I overpowered the Airmatic on my '06 by upsizing.

The shocks on regular suspension can be overtaxed, too. Increasing unsprung weight is not a good thing. As to style, it does seem that the mass of SUVs looks funny held up by spokes that are too thin, IMO.

The silver rivets look a bit tacky to me....but you're right in thinking the brakes can be too exposed...especially when running standard brakes

@ jadeethen I have not got any of them yet really debating on what wheels to get... I like the xix but I'm a lil worried if they can hold my kind of driving I do a lot of driving. I also love the lexani lss10 ... But a few of my friends told me Asanti is the way to go ... 3 peice wheels fix it up if they bend or ext. The address to the xix spot is 1325 Webster ave bronx ny 10456

I think Asanti's may be nicest wheels out there. However they are going to be premium $$$ especially if custom. I have a lease so it wouldn't make sense to drop that kind of coin.

Good luck and can't wait to see what you decide on.

Ok qeastion maybe a dumb one but you guys know better then me ... So I put rims on my 09 e class rs63 wheels didn't last me to long in NY before I bent them all up. I like the xix wheels but they are one peice wheel with a stainless steel cover lip.. So when they bent just like the rs63 rims I had there's no fixing just replacing. So my qeastion is my friend keeps telling me with a ml is a lot different then a car and I'm running 285/35/22 so the tires a lot bigger so its forgiato way more safe then the rubber bands I was running on my e class. So with your guys expirence I know is not impossible but is it more safe to say I should be fine ?

Higher profile tires help some, but biggest thing to help would be to invest in high quality forged wheels rather than bling cast ones.

ML63 runs 265/45-20 (9J ET41) or 295/35-21 (10J). If you're running 285/35 your sidewall height is just slightly less than the latter, but your OD is slightly larger due to the 22s. Time will tell how that works out for you. Temporary wheels can get expensive fast if you have to replace some.
