WTF? Brand New ML says Blind Spot Sensor Deactivated?

You may have turned it off or have something covering a sensor. Snow will do that may leaf? Old ML had an on/off button. Manual time :-)

checked all sensors around the car and read the manual already but it didn't mention anything

I'm still waiting for my ML order so these are all from the owners manual.
Activate the radar sensor system (page 236), then activate Blind Spot Assist (page 232). |

It will deactivate it the trailer hitch is in the receiver.
