Dealer invoice price for 2014 ML350 so different than online sources

Our 2014 ML350 has finally arrived at the dealer and ready for pick up

When we ordered two months back, we agreed on a price of invoice + $500, as the invoice was not clear at that time. The dealer sent me the invoice today and it's like $700 over what I found online. The biggest difference is for the base price. For a 4matic, websites like http://www.nadaguides.com and http://www.cars.com are showing an invoice price of $46,770. The number from the dealer is $47,470. Is this normal? Have anyone got an invoice price for the ml350 from a dealer too?

What's edmunds say? It should just be 93% of the MSRP price, no?

I don't see any MY2014 ML350s there yet.

Yeah as bud.jones said 2014 ML350 is not on Edmunds yet. For 2013 it's showing $46,286 for the base price, which is 93% of MSRP.

I looked at the quotes from other dealers. Their invoices are all about 94% of MSRP, so I guess dealers just have their own invoices. I'll just take it then. I'll post pictures after picking up

Try AutoGuide. I actually ordered an ML350 Bluetec yesterday. I took the AutoGuide had prices for the 2014 model year. The 2014 price increase was about 700 bucks for the base price.

Thanks, Coreysimms. AutoGuide is showing the same invoice as the other websites, which is $700 lower than dealer's invoice.

MSRP: $50,290

Invoice Price:$46,770

is it just the dealer invoice base price value that is shown lower online, or is there a difference between what online sites show for dealer invoice, as compared to what you got from the dealer, for packages and options as well?

It's just the base price, for packages and options the invoices are the same or like 1 or 2 dollars apart.
