Just a FWIW. The Weathertech Cargo Liner is not a perfect fit for my 2014 ML350BTC, and possibly other ML's. It does not completely cover the floor. See the attached photo.

I emailed Weathertech about this, but no response to date.

weird.. on my wifes ML that left corner is actually like a little side pocket, not flush with the rest of trunk floor.

Same here my ML (Gas) has the side pocket on the left side too. It's possible the ML diesel versions do not have this pocket.

I've a 2014 Bluetec and in that area your showing not covered by the Weathertec.......that area on my car is a deep hole well below the floor level. There's no 'depth' to your picture so I can't tell if that carpet area is well below the normal floor level or not. My ML was delivered in Feb of this year.

It's even with the rest of the floor. There is no recess or hole.

I'll take a picture of the 'hole' tomorrow but it'll be late in the day when I do. The recess is six and a half inches deep and about five and a half inches wide. I've no idea why you have no recess/'hole' in yours ..........unless that picture of yours is another version???? than the 2014 ML. Like I mentioned, I'm a newbie to the ML.

Mine has the trailer hitch. Maybe that has 'something' to do with it???

Mine's a 2014 ML350BTC with Airmatic, Trailer Hitch, Harmon-Kardon, etc. I'm going to see if I can lift that panel in the floor to see what's under there.

I have the MB cargo liner and it doesn't cover my "hole" over there either. I do not have aromatic. 2013 bluetech

Looks like the Airmatic air pump might fit in that hole.

I have airmatic and HK and I have the hole. I think it is something else...

I have 13' ML550 with Airmatic, on/off road, trailer hitch and H/K and have the "hole..." I like it, keep two quarts of Mobil 1, gloves etc in there.

Just took delivery today and I do NOT have the hole over there... Curious, I popped out the floor covering in that location and found this "thing". not sure what it is ... it seems very light and not bolted in (interference fit)...


My car is gas, no airmatic, has the hitch, H/K, vented seats, etc...

Just popped mine and busted the clips holding it in place while I was at it. It is the housing for the pneumatic pump for the ventilated seats.

I have ventilated seats and my space is empty. When I turn mine on I can hear the fans in the seat backs.

Dutch.... Still no reply from Weathertech? I have the same cargo liner as you. I couldn't find a good one anywhere that covers that little space.

They finally replied, and admitted that there is a difference within the models. They are investigating to see if they need to make another version, and promised to get back to me when they do decide. They did say that could be months.

I ordered the WT Cargo and front digital matts, have had them in all my vehicles. I do believe that WT shows a picture of the cargo liner that does not extend into this area in question. Not a big deal for me.

I complained about the same thing to weathertech. They were not much help. Keep us posted as I would like to have it extend all the way to the corner as it should.
