Brakes and rotors replaced
I have a 2013 ML 550 with 30k miles, I took it to the dealer for routine maintenance. They said brakes and rotors had to be replaced and the rotors could not be turned.
Is this the norm?
Thanks

Just had the same thing at 12,000 miles. Vibration when braking. Replacement was under warranty. Service advisor said it was common in V8 ML's as well as GL's. The pad replacement is upgraded to preclude this happening again. I hope so as it's not a cheap fix.

Dealer told me that rotors are only one yr warranty.
For sure I will have after market when these go out!!!
Has anyone replaced theirs with after market, starting to research now.
Thanks all.

For those who paid to have pads and rotors replaced, what did the dealer charge? I try to be pretty easy on these brakes figuring that they're probably short lived and expensive to replace like most European cars.

Mine was $924.00 and most of that was material vice labor.
You are correct, rotor change out is easy and the next set will be an after market and I will do the job.
