Has anyone replaced the stock amplifer with the Harmon Kardon amp? Is it i simple swap? Obviously the speakers are still stock, but wondering if i could just replace the amp..... see how much improvement it makes, and then look at replacing the speakers.

I had an '07 ML-350 with the HK system and loved it. The base system in the '12 blows.

Would probably cost a lot less to just go to the aftermarket. Find a shop that can do the work cleanly so it doesn't look and sound like your favorite neighborhood civic.
