Diesel ML filler size

Hi all,

I was disappointed to find that the filler neck on our 2014 ML250BT is too small to accept the larger high flow pump nozzles.

Is this the case on all diesel ML's? It's the first diesel SUV/4x4 I've had that only takes the smaller nozzle. I'm glad it only has a small tank!

Not the ideal answer, but you can always use one of these:

It will enable you to use the larger nozzle, but you will not be able to get any faster flow rate. A faster flow rate with that adapter will splash all over, and that ain't nice!

That filler neck is sized so that you can't put gasoline or the wrong fuel in the car.
