9 speed
Mercedes has said that the MLC will have the new 9 speed transmission. I have to think that the face lifted 2016 ML's will also have that transmission. That should significantly alter the discussion about engine choices. Both the 250 and the 400 have long torque curves. I'm thinking that will help in offsetting the loss of the 3 liter diesel and the V8.
