Ended up near Rocky Mountain National Park today

Headed to my condo today for the annual HOA meeting. Got done with that and decided to take a drive. Ended up in Grand Lake Colorado which is just outside of RMNP. Beautiful day!

Cool pictures.........but, if you have not already tried it, go to the Canadian Rockies and compare them to the USA Rockies. Awesome parks, Jasper, Banff, Yoho, Kootney. NOT knocking the USA but............

I'd love to take the family up there in the RV. I think we would need at least 2-weeks round trip coming from Colorado. It would be tough to break away that long with the kids and stuff…and stuff… Hopefully in the future!

…edit… I was just informed by my wife she visited Banff (back in 1982) when she was a teenager on a trip with her mother and sister in a 1982 Toyota Celica. I vaguely remember that story, however I've been married to her for 22 years.
