Some where on this form I seem to remember reading there was a way to pull up the DEF FLUID level. Key on but not in start, mileage selected, hold down the OK & some other (?) something. Was I dream or is there a procedure?

No, it was recently discussed.
Press the phone pick up key and the OK button for 3 seconds (or so).
Then up or down arrow key through the menu items.

The DEF seems only to be Full or Fill.
I have 10k miles and put 2.5 gals of DEF in and I think it would have taken more but I didn't have any. Checked the menu and it said Full.

Well I tried this & it did not work. I selected current miles, ok & phone answer at same time with ignition on. I must be missing something or it does not work on the 2014.

Just confirmed on mine, one click to turn the car on (keyless go), then pick the odometer out of the various choices, then press phone pick up and Go for 3 + seconds. I pressed phone pick up a split second before Go.
Not sure that matters. Mine is a '14.

Just tried again, mine is not keyless if that makes any difference. Turning one click says remove key, two clicks odometer comes up, selecting phone pick-up then hold both ok & phone pick-up but what I get is reset Yes/No. Maybe Friday the 13th it will work!

Today I was at last able to get into the menu. However, after 8,600 miles since last service I was surprised to see DEF listed as Full.

ML350 BLUE TEC
The DEF is good for more than 10,000 miles. I've 40K on a 2014 ML350 Bluetec and I've never seen a DEF warning. It gets serviced every 10K and the DEF is filled at each serviciing......except for the first servicing where the mechanic forgot to fill it.........I caught the lack of DEF fill on their check sheet where there was no check mark near the filling of the DEF.

DEF

I'm not sure about rate of consuming DEF but at a service because my check engine light came on (12 ML 350 BT) it was the O2 sensor, second one. They claimed that caused less use of DEF.
