Exclamation Windshield Washer Fluid

14 ML 350 BT: Has anyone had this problem? I filled my washer fluid with RainX -25 degree fluid, now every time I start the vehicle I received a warning to check fluid level. After checking the level, it was not low. I questioned the dealer, their reply was that only the Blue fluid will work, as the RainX fluid screws up the sensor.

And, sadly, it's going to require a new sensor.

Have used Rainex washer fluid in several new MB's.(2010-2014) with no problems. Plan to keep using Rainex in my new 2015 ML when factory fill is gone.
P.S. I only use the all weather version of Rainex.

I use MB Summer Fit washer additive (1 small bottle/gallon of water) with a bump of Einszett Anti-Frost Plus Windshield Washer Fluid Concentrate in the winter to lower the freezing point. Cleans well and doesn't hurt paint, headlight plastics or the fluid sensor.

Hey guys,

I am experiencing the following problem and maybe some of you had a similar experience and solved, cuz I can't find a solution.

My front windshield water is not coming out, however, the rear wipers+water are working excellent and I can hear the pump working.

The other problem is that I can use the front wipers only once. As soon as I will engage the switch to clean the front windshield, the wipers will go 3 times with no water, and if I will try to engage them again, they won't move, but the rear one will work perfectly. I tried to drop some water on the windshield to activate the rain sensor but it didn't work.

By the way
1. The tank is full with windshield water.
2. The fuses and relay are good.
3. I can hear the water pump when the rear wiper is being activated.
4. So far, no leaks that I could notice.

A side note which might be relative on not, but!!! prior noticing that the front wipers aren't working properly, my wife managed to forget to unplug the heater cord from the wall-plug and she pulled almost the entire heater cord from the engine bay when she was backing up from the garage. I was lucky that it did not damaged anything in the engine bay.

Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
