Sprintbooster
Some time ago I searched for a SB module for my 2013 ML63 AMG but none was available.
Now on SB USA site I see they offer one..
Has anyone installed this on a ML63 AMG W166 ?
Edit: I see there is another option called Pedalbox...may try that

You have to drive it to truly understand .. There is a throttle lag ... Press the gas pedal and 1/2 second later you get any movement
Does this make sense to you?

waiting for your review. Got my ecu sent to pp-performance to do stage 2, dont know if it will enhance the throttle response.

Isn't there a performance mode that eliminates the lag? I mean, it's an AMG after all and I've had a few and they never needed a Sprintboost ... but neither were they SUV's.
Having said that, if you guys think it helps ... then I believe that you're right.

Nice! You wouldn't rather upgrade to a C7 instead? I drove one the other day and though it's still not to my taste, it was much better than from what I remember in the older cars.

The sprintbooster is a really awesome device, you don't have to mash the pedal to get that -mashed- feeling, and there's absolutely no delay between pushing the pedal and the car response,
Definetely a must have on manual cars, but on automatic cars, the kick down feature always gets in since you go full throttle at 30% pressure of the pedal, very cool, but it gets annoying after a short while.
The PedalBox does the same thing but with 06 programming modes instead of 03, but you have to deal with a big controller and long wires that you need to run under the dash, the SB is just plug & play and the controller is very small with just an illuminated button, You can also disconnect the controller after selecting your desired mode, Off= factory mode, Green= mild improvement and Red=big improvement.
In this case simpler is better, IMO

Yes..okay.
Installed it a week ago..install was easy although you must ensure the connections are positive and snapped together...this is completed by removing a connection clip at th top of accelerator and adding inline the device...you can get to that top connector by pushing up on the upper valence rather than having to actually remove this panel...
My initial startup...resulted in a CEL light and no throttle response as I had not positively connected the device to the throttle..after pressing very firmly it clicked together...the code went away after about 5 starts
Right off the bat I selected the most aggressive setting and have not moved it from there since..it really becomes touchy and getting used to it especially at this setting takes some time...the tip in is instant and gratifying..
Now what you all are waiting..no it does not eliminate the dreaded lag that seems to occur at 2-1 / acccelerate position...matter of fact it may even accentuate it..as we know we must wait for the system to respond/shift before accelerating
This said I would still recommend adding one...the throttle response is immediate...takes some getting use to especially in S+ and certainly does as touted
