ML350 Bluetec alternator output?
How many amps will go through the 2 jumper connections under the hood? Is it limited to 30 or 60 amps? In a pinch could you let it run for an hour and charge a a travel trailer battery?

Frankly, no... unless you wanted to risking burning out the electronics on your ML over charging a travel-trailer-battery... buy a 2nd battery and keep that charged at home and bring it as a swappable spare for your trailer..
