2014 rear step plate bumper
very minimal bump today in a parking lot. I put it in gear and let my foot off the brake and rolled bit by bit trying to get out of a tight spot, watching in camera saw the pole and thought I had like 2 inches more when i felt the slightest contact. edged forward, made it out of the spot, got home and noticed the chrome step plate had been bent. bumper doesn't appear to be deformed but looks like the plastic (chrome) piece didn't tolerate the slight pressure (don't laugh it really was just a tap). it's like it creased and then tried to flatted back out, so now it has a wrinkle in the "chrome"
so the question is I see lots of OEM and not-so-OEM pieces for ~$99 online. but what I don't see is how to remove and replace the piece.
here's a listing for a piece like what I'm asking about.

thanks

The link you attached mentions 'it has no broken tabs'. I see four 'tabs' and I suppose they are what attach it....maybe. Plus, as you must have noticed, that part in the picture has a deep crease in it.

Why not get brand new from a dealer? It isn't hugely expensive:
