Is there such an item? Where would I go to adjust this? I've been through the manua, both paper and online, can't seem to find anything. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Ahh, thank you.... I spent the better part of the afternoon going through every setting detail. Seems rather silly... what advantage would be gained making it non adjustable???

Most people drive around with the windows up, A/C on at a steady fan speed... you set the radio volume once when you leave and forget it. There's never an increase in road noise to overcome.

Also, by this point in time (2015), the amount of volume increase data has been collected and processed, they know how much gain the majority of people would choose and have programmed it in.

Barry45... please reread your post! Are you stating that I should 'set & forget'?? Perhaps for you, and possibly more. I tend to like adjustments.... Well, if MB should decide to do away with Treble & Bass cause MOST PEOPLE leave it that way.... my bet is you'll be one of the 1st to scream!(I'm guessing from your screen name, 45RPM, LOL!) The control I was questioning about is just a s/w adjustment, not really a $$ saving item.. why delete it?

We used to be able to check our oil level on the dash too. I guess they figured "just because it can be done doesn't mean it needs to be done" anymore. Look how overwrought and over-thought the many features of the car really are. ...for example, if its daylight out and you open a door the courtesy lights don't come on... and if its a front door that is opened, the rear courtesy lights don't come on at all, just the fronts do. All that extra thought and execution... nice, but for what? Mental exercise? Such needless complexity creates room for future malfunctions. At some point in the design process, the car is done. No need to add layer upon layer of do-able doodads that really don't add much except to the owners manual. YOMV.

I will actually say this is a "Great, Yet Stupid Feature" to be automatic. It is actually frustrating when you are in the mood to Rock your sound system and your Vehicle want to control your mood. Really a "Great, Yet Stupid Feature) if such thing exists...

I wish I had vol speed increase/decrease on my cars. I hate having to lower the music when I come to a light. Almost every other car I have owned over the past 10 years had that ability
