Valentine 1 Radar Savvy/OBD Port Connection?
Did a few searches and only found the hardwire threads for the V1 install. Has anyone tried or is anyone using the Valentine Savvy OBD connector for the V1? Used it in BMWs and it's a great way to connect.
The Valentine site notes that MB is one of the cars with "compatibility issues" but doesn't go further. Any feedback appreciated. Certainly don't want to drain a battery or have any electronic concerns.

I have a Saavy in my 2014 SL550 and it does work, however, it doesn't allow the car to go to "sleep" and if you don't use the car for a few days you will have a dead battery...ask me how I know! I contacted Valentine one and they said they were aware of the issue and are working on a fix. I got the feeling that they weren't after the call. I have not tried it in my M though.

I plugged into the OBD and used the V1 on our trip last weekend, but unplugged it at night. At least the Benz OBD is easy to access. Just curious: if I leave it plugged into the OBD but turn off the V1, will it still drain the battery? I don't really want to be my own guinea pig though.
